Ysette
Agaric Fighter, Reli's girlfriend. Was a childhood bully, but after meeting again as adults, Reli invited Ysette to join the agency and the two of them slowly grew a romantic connection.
Character
Tiefling rogue. Reli finds her delightful and is protective of her, and fond of her as part of their "family" at the agency.
Zia
Elf Sorcerer. Zia is the unofficial party leader, at least while Chae-Seon was gone, and Reli has ended up playfully combative towards her. Ultimately, though, Reli always trusts her to know what they should be doing and to take charge.
Plot Threads
The Murder
Upon visiting the Circle of Dreams, the party learned from Ysette that Reli was accused and convicted of the murder of their mentor, Ovid. They discovered that the murder was actually done by Ovid's partner, Elihu, and Zia subverted the problem when a wild surge allowed her to bring Ovid back from the dead.
The Karakuri
During the adventure, the party discovered various living statues and, eventually, fully mobile automatons created from what were once people, usually enemies of the Periodic. First finding Chae-Seon frozen as a statue, and then Elihu converted to an automaton, Reli was driven to seek out their family.
Reli's parents were fascinated and revealed that the Karakuri- the automatons people were being made into, with the statue form as a partial transformation- were the precursors to gnomes. They agreed to use their knowledge of gnomecraft to build new bodies for the victims.
The Family
Reli has had low to no contact with their family for the past several years, since they obtained leniency after Reli's trial. From what they've said, their parents are very overbearing, putting the pressure of family status on their children and expecting them to behave as living examples of their craftsmanship, something that seems to be common in gnome cultures. They also have an older brother and younger sister, who they are on good terms with.
